The saison 5 of Stranger Things will be the very last of the Netflix series. While waiting to discover it – we hope – quite quickly, the duffer brothers make us a new revelation about him. And as much to say that this one is likely to divide.
She was eagerly awaited by millions of fans around the world: season 4 of Stranger Things landed exclusively on Netflix after a three-year wait, through a first volume of seven episodes published on May 27. It will again have been necessary to wait, this time only a month, before discovering volume 2 and its two episodes with a total duration of around four hours.
When we discovered the duration of the last two episodes of season 4 of Stranger Things, this one could seem almost intimidating, so much one wondered if the rhythm would not suffer too much. Suffice to say that we were quickly reassured on July 1, when we were finally able to discover them. On the other hand, the first episodes of the season, lasting between 1h and 1h15 approximately, were criticized by some because of their rather slow pace, the setting up of the plot being indeed relatively slow.

I think it will be longer than season 1 because we have to wrap up a lot of things, but I don’t think it will be as long as season 4. Matt Duffer
Many arcs to conclude but a more condensed duration than that of season 4, this promises a season 5 of the most thrilling, at a frantic pace. A promise confirmed by Matt’s brother, Ross Duffer.
This season, for example, there were two hours before our characters finally realized that a monster was murdering people in Hawkins. Now they’re aware of the threat, so it’ll help us pick up the pace. Ross Duffer
If we can therefore understand that many fans of the series are disappointed to learn that the last season of Stranger Things will be much shorter than the last one, they can nevertheless rejoice, the Duffer brothers do not seek to drag out their story, thus promising a fifth and final season more intense than ever, in which there should be no dead time and where the first episodes will not suffer from pacing problems. On our side, we can’t wait, especially if this character was back…
