Introducing the GUESS USA Fall 2022 Collection


Since 1981, GUESS has had a singular vision of the “American way of life” and has contributed to a huge archive of design and photography.

Nicolai Marciano brought in photographer Eli Russell Linnetz to reinvent GUESS USA, the Californian sub-brand of GUESS. Designed by Nicolai Marciano, this clothing collection is innovative and illuminates the aesthetic of American West. The photography was entrusted to Linnetz – his vision is inherently imbued with an energy and attitude from the Americana universe.

Beginning in Fall 2022, the collection is exclusively distributed through GUESS USA’s Global Partner, Slam Jam, to service select retailers worldwide.

This synergistic partnership creates a carefully selected collection that draws from the rich archives of GUESS USA. Inspired by unique products discovered in the GUESS studio and designed in the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s, none of these pieces had ever been put into production — until now.

Since its first marketing campaigns, GUESS has championed photography as a medium, which has given rise to a new form of advertising and branding. Sometimes even without clothes, the iconic advertisements sold a lifestyle and the American dream, a prominent theme also found in the work of Eli Russell Linnetz.

It was essential that GUESS work with others who share their vision of the American way of life. All photographs were taken by Eli Russell Linnetz himself, who lends his trained eye to documenting the brand’s FA22 campaign.
